Looks like we won't be getting a sequel to EndWar after all, at least not for a while. Videogaming247 is reporting that the project is currently on hold.

"It's on the backburner," Ubisoft Shanghai's Michael de Plater said. He didn't go into any further detail.

The original game was released in 2008 to mediocre reviews. The main hook was its voice activation, but it was panned for its fairly shallow gameplay.
